Abstract

In the post-COVID era healthcare systems are facing several new (and old) challenges. On one hand,\r\nthe COVID-19 pandemic has revealed the need of a higher number of healthcare workers such as the\r\nnecessity of new competences and skills. On the other hand, it has stressed some of the pre-existing\r\nproblems: patients ageing and an increasing number of chronic conditions. Therefore, it is necessary to\r\nunderstand how to reshape healthcare systems and organisations to improve healthcare delivery
