Abstract
The Italian supreme Court delivered a decision concerning seizure of proceeds of crime held in bank joint accounts.\r\nIn order to provide a safeguard to third parties whose money are deposited in the bank, the Court stated that only\r\nillegally obtained money should be seizured. Thus, it is up to the public prosecutor to ascertain the origin of the\r\nmoney.
