Abstract
The Foreword underlines the value of the book, which is a noteworthy contribution to the analysis as well as prevention of corruption and its enormous damaging effects, combining and well balancing the economic and the legal approaches. As a matter of fact the only satisfactory way to deal with the problem requires the engagement of a wide range of legal, economic and cultural means, based on an understanding of the complex and systemic causal relations which give rise to this crime.
