Dalla semantica alla lessicologia. Introduzione al Modello Senso<=>Testo di I. A. Mel’čuk

The volume reconstructs the history of the Meaning-Text (Smysl-Tekst)linguistic model of the Russian linguist I. A. Mel’čuk, from its first intuition during the machine translation experiments in Moscow between the Sixties and Seventies until its mature formulation. Particular attention is devoted to the semantic and lexicological aspects of the model, with a focus on the semantic metalanguage proposed for the semantic representation of natural languages and on the notion of lexical function.
