Abstract
The essay studies the relationship between the edition of Cristoforo Landino's translation of Pliny's "Naturalis historia" published in 1543 by the florentine scholar and publisher Antonio Brucioli and his own translation of the text, published in 1548. It shows the stucture of these two works and some of their linguistic and stylistic features. The essay helps to deepen the literary and scientific interests of Brucioli, who is usually better known by scholars due to his translation of the "Bible" and his important influence on Italian Reformation.
