Abstract

Supply chain in its current customer-centric configuration relies heavily on communication flows to facilitate actors’ interaction and support decisionmaking along all the phases connecting upstream and downstream stakeholders. This entry illustrates the role communication flows play in managing information exchange, focusing in particular on how communication enhances strategic intangible assets along the supply chain (e.g. supply chain identity, culture and image).
