Abstract
[Machine translation] The article presents a new edition of the song Nulhs hom non es tan fizels vas senhor by the troubadour Aimeric de Pegulhan of Toulouse. The new text is based on the analysis of the entire manuscript tradition, in all nine witnesses. The composition is a classic love song based on the feudal metaphor, in which the poet complains that the woman does not reciprocate his love: Aimeric’s originality consists in the use of words or expressions that are very rare or completely absent in the lyrics of the troubadours, such as the word ancaps (v. 19), which seems to be a technicality of the legal lexicon, present only in some documents and, perhaps, in a partimen between Gui and Elias d’Uisel.
