Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The vol. it is not limited to just one genre or one certain epoch. In fact, it offers the reader an insight into together. It starts from the pre-Islamic period (datable between the 5th and the 6th century AD) illustrating poetic compositions that they reflect the mentality and customs of society, through the use of the poetic form of the qaṣīda that can be juxtaposed with a poem or a lyric-panegyristic ode by very varied and monorima topic from the structure that it appears already codified in the pre-Islamic era and applied in the following centuries. The volume then proceeds along i centuries of flowering with the period of the dynasties Umayyad of Damascus (661-750) and Abbasid of Baghdad (750-1258), the epoch of the forfeiture coinciding with the Mongol invasion of Baghdad in 1258, and then to arrive at modern and contemporary production.
