Abstract
[Autom. eng. transl.] The vol. it is not limited to just one genre or one
certain epoch. In fact, it offers the reader an insight into
together. It starts from the pre-Islamic period (datable between the 5th and
the 6th century AD) illustrating poetic compositions that
they reflect the mentality and customs of society, through
the use of the poetic form of the qaṣīda that can be
juxtaposed with a poem or a lyric-panegyristic ode by
very varied and monorima topic from the structure that
it appears already codified in the pre-Islamic era and applied
in the following centuries. The volume then proceeds along i
centuries of flowering with the period of the dynasties
Umayyad of Damascus (661-750) and Abbasid of Baghdad
(750-1258), the epoch of the forfeiture coinciding with
the Mongol invasion of Baghdad in 1258, and then
to arrive at modern and contemporary production.
