Abstract
The Premessa sets out the reasons that inspired the study meeting, in particular the edition of the latest volumes in the rich series of 'Franciscan Sources' in Italian and Latin (only for the volume dedicated to the Franciscus liturgicus). Alongside this main motif, the desire to recall the figure and work of Giovanni Miccoli, who died in March 2017, soon emerged. The second part of this volume is dedicated to his work as a scholar and investigator of Franciscan sources.
