Le bozze e il poeta: varianti ed "errata corrige" negli "Opuscula" di Lidio Catti (1502)

[Autom. eng. transl.] Although the "Opuscula" by Lidio Catti from Ravenna (Venice, Giovanni Tacuino, 1502) are opened by a letter from Girolamo Avanzi, several internal elements show that in reality it was the poet himself who edited the edition. In this sense, the "errata corrige" compiled by the author himself is of particular help: inside it not only lists of errors are read, but also linguistic considerations and indications of coexistence in copies of different lessons, the result of the activity of the corrector poet (who comes to amend even the errata itself). A collation of some copies of the edition, in addition to verifying this alternation, finally brought to light further textual differences, sometimes very substantial. At this chronological height, the participation of an author in the edition printing of his work is a fact worthy of interest for the history of literature and typography.
