Abstract

[Autom. eng. transl.] The volume consists of two parts: the first contains a comparison between Bruaire and Lafont - of which unpublished texts are presented -, the second a proposal for a philosophy of the body. The latter is understood according to the categories of gift and desire, borrowed from the comparison between the two authors, and bearing in mind some psychoanalytic data offered by Recalcati in his study of Lacan. A dynamic reading of the body emerges which is in what it desires and, existing beyond its own needs, leads towards that transcendence which is called "gift". The universality of desire is the other pivot on which the itinerary is structured and which allows us to consider the gift also as an "origin": the gift of desire is both subjective and objective genitive.
