Abstract

[Machine translation] On June 14, 2024, during the G7 summit in Borgo Egnazia (Savelletri di Fasano, Puglia), Pope Francis delivered an insightful reflection on artificial intelligence, referring to it as an «exciting and fearsome tool» that profoundly impacts the human experience. Following his address, members of the informal working group on Artificial Intelligence, formed under the University Center for the Social Teaching of the Church, were invited to share their immediate reflections, focusing on the most significant aspects in relation to their specific fields of research.
