Abstract

[Machine translation] The essay reconstructs the innovative experiment of apostleship promoted by Giancarlo Brasca and Enrico Manfredini in the peripheries of Milan during the Montini’s Episcopate. The idea of Brasca was to promote a work of apostolate in the poor suburbs of the city that acted, at the same time, on an educational and political level, in order to solve the human and social problems of the peripheries. This initiative involved hundreds of young people from Catholic Action and allowed them to “discovered” the suburbs of the city and their problems.
